The platform

Between the scammer and the people they call.

INTERCIPIO sits in front of the phone. It screens, engages, records and reports, so a scam attempt ends as evidence instead of a loss.

Every household gets a protection number. A call detected as a likely scam is forwarded to it, and the agent answers in the household’s place. A text sent to the protection number is taken apart: the sender’s number is checked (VoIP or real line, carrier, public complaint data), the message is read for the usual pressure and payment patterns, and any link is opened in a sandbox to see what is behind it, never on the household’s phone. The agent then writes back to the sender and keeps them talking. Either way the household never deals with the scammer, and everything learned is scored and kept as evidence.

A protection number

Each household or team gets an INTERCIPIO number. Unknown and suspicious calls are forwarded to it first, the way call screening works on a phone, and are answered by an agent before they ever reach the person.

  • Forwarding from the household’s own number, set up once
  • Trusted contacts ring through; everyone else meets the agent
  • Works with any phone, no app required

Agent engagement

The agent keeps the caller talking. It shares nothing, holds no personal data and cannot pay, so every minute on the line is a minute taken from a scammer’s day, and every statement is captured as evidence.

  • Claimed organisation, numbers, websites and payment instructions extracted
  • Six scam tactics recognised in English and French
  • Every finding points to the sentence that produced it

Number intelligence

Before and during the call, the number itself is read as a signal. INTERCIPIO is designed to flag calls from countries the household has no ties to, inconsistent caller-ID, and numbers already reported for scams.

  • Origin flags for the household’s own context
  • Caller-ID consistency checks
  • Cross-checks against lists of numbers reported for scams

Evidence and reports

Each statement, indicator and risk change is stored as a record with a SHA-256 digest of its contents. The household gets a plain-language protection report in English or French; partners get a structured evidence package.

  • Hash-sealed records, re-verifiable on export
  • Protection report as a PDF, in English or French
  • Intelligence graph linking calls through shared indicators

The AI

A model that talks. Rules that decide.

Frontier-grade language models for the conversation
The agent’s replies come from a frontier-grade language model, directed by playbooks for each scam type and constrained to share nothing and promise nothing.
Fixed, explainable rules for the risk decision
The model never sets the score. Six fixed rules do, each adding known points and citing the statement that triggered it, so a decision can always be explained.
Speech handled by the telephony layer
Speech recognition and voice are handled by the telephony layer; only text reaches the engine, and only text is kept.
Bilingual by design
English and Canadian French throughout: the agent, the rules, the report.
Data stored in Canada
Data for Canadian customers is stored in Canada.
